Note: Lynne, (2nd from left), ate totally vegan throughout her pregnancy. She was two months away from delivering. she looked great. All baby. She gave birth to twins, a little boy and girl, each a healthy 7 pounds plus. That is quite an accomplishment. Her babies are beautiful. They radiant like their mom.
More fun with the Kickstart Gang. Laurie (who's helping in the kitchen) is co-owner of the fabulous Underground Bakery in Dennis, MA.
~ LIFE AFTER RETIREMENT ~
Back to teaching and coaching, but now in the kitchen and community!
Teaching plant based cooking was a natural complement to my life’s passions and professions - teaching, social work and counseling. It has been so gratifying to meet people who share a common desire to to take better care of themselves by transforming their cooking and eating habits. Sharing what I’ve learned and imparting healthy, helpful cooking tips has been gift. Teaching and guiding remain a vital part of my life, but in a new and exciting arena!
I've met so many wonderful individuals through my classes. People come from all walks of life, sharing personal experiences regarding their health and nutrition. At my private classes participants receive a packet filled with helpful resources, articles from medical experts, and recipes of prepared foods. A cooking demonstration precedes a sit down three course meal. There are classes for dinner entrees and for breakfast and brunch. All are animal protein and dairy free! You'd be surprised what tasty dinners and desserts can be prepared WITHOUT beef, pork, lamb and dairy, eggs and oil.

SUMMER 'O8 COOKING CLASSES
I’m thankful for my personal physician and kindred sojourners who risk sharing truth and wisdom. May our communal efforts transform our society, and heal both our planet and bodies. May we all be open to learning, sharing and growing.
